How It Works

Every Session, Every Week

Each 60-minute session follows the same energetic structure so kids know what to expect — and get maximum reps every time.

Time Activity Duration
9:00 AM
Welcome Circle + Warm-Up
We get moving immediately — no standing around. Simple stretches, high knees around the bases, and our batting stance roll call where every kid strikes a pose when their name is called.

Skills & Development

What Your Child Learns

We go beyond the mechanics. At this age we're building athletes, teammates, and baseball fans for life.

01
Hitting Fundamentals
Proper stance, grip, weight shift, and bat path — taught with age-appropriate cues that stick and carry forward as they grow.
02
Throwing Mechanics
The step-and-throw pattern that forms the foundation of every throw they'll make for the rest of their career — built right from day one.
03
Fielding Basics
Soft hands, athletic ready position, and tracking the ball — built through repetition in a no-pressure, success-first environment.
04
Base Running
Running through first, rounding bases, and reading the game — introduced through relay-style activities that feel like play, not drills.
05
Coachability
How to listen, follow instructions, and bounce back after a mistake — skills that pay off in every sport and in the classroom.
06
Love of the Game
The most important outcome. Kids who leave every session asking "when do I come back?" become lifelong athletes and your 7+ camp players.

Got Questions?

Frequently Asked

Everything parents ask before their first session.

Does my child need any baseball experience?+
Absolutely not — and most of our kids have none. Little Sluggers is specifically designed for children brand new to baseball. If anything, kids with no habits are easier to teach. All you need is a willingness to have fun.
What equipment does my child need to bring?+
Nothing is required. We provide foam balls, tees, and bats. Athletic shoes and comfortable clothes are all your child needs. If they fall in love with it — and they usually do — we can point you toward age-appropriate gear when you're ready.
Is there a sibling discount?+
Yes — $20 off for each additional sibling enrolled in the same session pack or camp. Contact us directly to apply the discount at checkout.
What if my child gets upset or isn't ready?+
It happens, and we're trained for it. Our coaches work specifically with this age group and understand how 4–6 year olds process new environments. We never put a child on the spot in front of peers, and we always redirect positively. Most hesitant kids in week 1 are our biggest enthusiasts by week 3.
Will my child be ready for the 7+ camps when they age up?+
That's exactly the goal. Little Sluggers is the first step in the Seminole Baseball Academy pathway. By the time your child turns 7, they'll have real foundational mechanics, coachability, and confidence that puts them ahead of kids walking into camp with zero experience. We'll let you know when the time is right to move up.
What is the refund policy?+
We offer a full refund for cancellations more than 7 days before your first session. Within 7 days, we issue a credit toward a future session. Drop-in sessions are non-refundable but can be rescheduled with 24 hours notice, subject to availability.
